Android setup
Mock location is an official Android developer setting. You turn it on once, then LocoLarp can supply test coordinates.
Enable Developer Options
- Open the Settings app.
- Open About phone (sometimes About device).
- Find Build number. On some phones it is inside Software information.
- Tap Build number seven times.
- Enter your PIN or pattern if asked.
You should see a short message such as “You are now a developer.” Then a Developer options screen appears in Settings (sometimes under System, or under a Search field).

Where OEMs put the menus
Google Pixel
Settings → About phone → Build number, then Settings → System → Developer options.
Samsung
Settings → About phone → Software information → Build number, then Settings → Developer options. Search for “mock location” if the list is long.
Xiaomi / HyperOS / MIUI
Settings → My device or About phone → All specs → OS version or Build number. Developer options may sit under Additional settings. Some skins also ask you to sign in to a Xiaomi account before USB-related options appear; mock location may still be available without that.
OnePlus / Oppo / ColorOS
Settings → About device → Version → Build number, then Additional settings → Developer options.
Optional checks
- Location (GPS) is turned on in Quick Settings.
- LocoLarp has permission to show on top or run in the background if your OEM asks for it after install.
- Battery savers are not force-stopping LocoLarp during a test.
